Developed by the Molteni Vernici Research and Development Center, WP.ANTIMICROBICAL™ Protective integrates exclusive antimicrobial technology based on the controlled release of positive ions through an inorganic matrix. This ion exchange mechanism ensures a slow, constant, and continuous release over time, helping to maintain the effectiveness of the antimicrobial technology on the treated surface without altering its transparency, brilliance, or aesthetic quality.

Entirely water-based, WP.ANTIMICROBICAL™ Protective is designed for the world of interior and outdoor design, hospitality, luxury retail, contract, healthcare, wellness, marine, food industry, and contemporary architecture. It is ideal for hotels, resorts, hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, schools, offices, showrooms, boutiques, restaurants, professional kitchens, and prestigious residences, where surfaces are subject to frequent use.

Available in glossy WP.19000 and matte WP.19500 versions, WP.ANTIMICROBICAL™ Protective can be applied by pneumatic or electrostatic spray, easily integrating into industrial and artisanal production processes with high film uniformity and maximum aesthetic repeatability.

Applicable, using specific Molteni Vernici cycles, on iron, steel, zamak, brass, bronze, copper, aluminum, nickel, chrome, rhodium, palladium, PVD surfaces, galvanized metals, ABS, polyamide, nylon, polycarbonate, methacrylate, polystyrene, plastics, wood, MDF, and numerous other substrates, WP.ANTIMICROBICAL™ Protective ensures maximum design versatility while maintaining the same protective quality on different materials.

WP.ANTIMICROBICAL™ Protective can be used both indoors and outdoors with specific application cycles. The 100% water-based formulation, formaldehyde-free and low in VOCs, helps reduce environmental impact and emissions during the production process, offering a sustainable solution without compromising the high performance required by contemporary industry.
